Grief vs. Acceptance

Coming to conclusions can be tough when sometimes heart overrules mind. It is difficult because even when you can realistically point out what you need to do you cant always do it. Talking about these things can be helpful and dangerous. Repetition doesn't always make an individual feel better. When a person is experiencing a "loss" there is a grieving process that must take place  in order for the individual to truly overcome the situation.

Life has a funny way of showing you what you need versus what you want. Patience may be a virtue but the waiting period is hard. No matter how much you cry, pray, talk or criticize yourself you may end up with no solution. At times the mind gets so consumed with finding solutions that you can become overwhelming to others and to self in my opinion. I'm learning that pausing for the cause and letting it do what it do is all that can truly be done.

Giving too much of ourselves when the time isn't right can harm us emotionally and mentally. So when you have done all you can sometimes acceptance is what is necessary. It will help prevent the emotional roller coaster from restarting that you are already on.
